We we’re all truly saddened in BCC to hear the news that Aretha Franklin had passed away. An amazing voice and fantastic pianist too. RIP Queen of Soul.
Thank you Carl and Glenn…

We were completely blown away here at our recent Leicester gig – not just by the warm welcome and crowd but also by the presence on none-other then Carl Swann – Glenn Hughes’ long-time Manager. A lovely guy who was a pleasure to meet, he gave us loads of advice and words of encouragement and stayed with his family to catch the whole show. And if that wasn’t enough to send our heads spinning he also gave us all gifts of Glenn Hughes-signed memorabilia. And then, to cap it all off, he got Glenn on speakerphone and we finally got to speak to the great man. To say we were truly humbled by Glenn’s kind words and messages of encouragement is a massive, massive understatement. It’s a pleasure for us to play his fine body of music and for Glenn to take the time to speak to us is something we’ll cherish forever. Thank you Carl and thank you Glenn.

As well as being an ivory tinkler extraordinaire, our very own Jonathan Cooke has also put together this brand new little promo video! Special thanks goes out to Peter Rubin at Ridge Radio, John Pull at Rockrpix photography and Simon Taylor at EQ Audio.
